PRACTICE AREAS

1
CRIMINAL DEFENSE
The primary responsibility of a criminal defense attorney is to protect the constitutional rights of their clients by making sure that the authorities respect and abide by these rights throughout every part of the process — from the arrest to the sentencing. He or she must also make sure their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination (which prohibits them from forcing confessions from defendants), as well as their Sixth Amendment right to legal counsel. GLG will investigate your charges and analyze all evidence. Whether it's negotiating a plea deal or defending you at trial - GLG has your back. PERSONAL INJURY
Personal injury is an umbrella term that covers many different situations where someone can suffer injury at the hands of another person, company, or entity. This injury can be physical, psychological or both. Although their scope of cases can be broad, most are related to car accidents, truck accidents, slips and falls, and defective products.
The core of a personal injury attorney’s job is holding the negligent party accountable by securing a settlement that fairly and completely compensates the injured party. Life after a severe accident can be traumatic and often requires serious adjustments. Unfortunately, without proper representation, most people are unable to get the reimbursement they need to move forward with their new reality. If you've been injured as the result of someone else's negligence, give GLG a call.

FAMILY LAW
Finding resolutions to complex problems and challenges in divorce or family court matters can be incredibly stressful. It’s a situation where you may no longer trust or get along with the other party, and reaching a mutual agreement seems impossible. Differences in goals and perspectives can make it even more difficult, especially when it comes to matters involving children or finances. Emotions like anger, resentment, and selfishness may also come into play, making it hard to maintain a reasonable and logical approach on your own. But you don’t have to face this alone. Our experienced legal team is here to guide you through these tough times and help you navigate the legal process towards a favorable outcome.

BANKRUPTCY
Today, many families are struggling financially under the weight of high interest credit card debts. Credit card companies and banks often bring lawsuits to collect overdue debts. Bankruptcy can potentially stop these lawsuits and help families with their debt problems.
As you may already know, the bankruptcy law changed in October 2005. Despite the change in the law, many people will still be able to file bankruptcy and eliminate all of their debts.
Depending on your situation, a chapter 7 bankruptcy can do the following:
1) BANKRUPTCY CAN ELIMINATE THE LEGAL REQUIREMENT TO PAY CREDITORS. THIS INCLUDES CREDIT CARD DEBTS SUCH AS AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA, MASTERCARD, MACY’S AND NEARLY ALL OTHER CREDIT CARDS.
2) BANKRUPTCY CAN STOP LAWSUITS.
3) BANKRUPTCY CAN STOP WAGE GARNISHMENTS ON SALARIES.
4) BANKRUPTCY CAN STOP HARASSMENT AT HOME OR WORK.
